Sex Therapy

Sex as one aspect of intimacy is for many an important part of both an individual’s sense of self and within a relationship yet it is often an area which isn’t talked about and as such has the potential when it is not straightforward to create distress and often sadness.

I work with both individuals and couples and can explore a multitude of aspects which may be causing difficulty ranging from low desire, genital dysfunctions (Erectile Dysfunction, Delayed Ejaculation, Premature Ejaculation, Vaginismus and other penetrative pain or discomfort), kink, sexual identity exploration and exploration of ethical and consensual non monogamous relationships.

This will typically involve an assessment process, a tailored treatment plan and behavioural techniques either as an individual or couple with ongoing support throughout.  Being able to talk about these issues can be hugely helpful and there is practical and psychological help and support which results in real change being possible.
